Welcome Friends!
Welcome to our 7th Annual Let's Be Friends Sew Along!
This is a sew along will start on Sunday July 7th and its free!

What is a Sew Along?
A 'sew along' means that we all sew this project, each week on our own time and in the comfort of our own homes.
It is all about creating a beautiful project, week by week for 12 weeks, and sharing your progress virtually on our
Facebook Group called 'Let's Be Friends Sew Along'.
You can join HERE.

What are we sewing?
This year it is all about the QUILT BLOCK!
Years ago I designed a beautiful quilt called 'Stars in the Valley'.
A very striking quilt completed in red and white.

These quilt blocks are 18" finished size, and lovely to make
I have always wanted to reproduce it but make it half the size.
Yup! That would be 9" finished size blocks and I am so excited about this project!

You, as the quilter will have a choice what size you wish to sew.
Do you want to make the original?
The Original Block size (18" fin. size) - which is available as a pattern.
Quilt size: 96" x 96"

I recommend 'experienced beginner' and up.
This means you have accomplished a 1/4" seam, are comfortable with cutting,
measuring and have completed all the steps to finishing a quilt.
