We work very hard to create the best possible product but occassionally something slips by our eagle eyes. If we discover an error, we’ll publish it here. BCS Mystery Quilt - Quilter's Inspiration

Installment 3, Page 1, Part 1. Yes, you have done everything correct! Please note the sewn block should measure 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" unfin. (not the 6-1/2" as typed - this is a typo).

Installment 4, Page 1, Part 1. Same thing -  Please note the sewn block should measure 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" unfin. (not the 6-1/2" as typed - this is a typo).

Installment 6, Page 4 The Evidence Room Inventory, Baggie D. Mysteriously some squares ended up here...but rest assured they should not be there. It is a mystery to me too! lol. Please write that Baggie D should be Empty!

Installment 8, Page 3 for the Lazy Lap Size Only.
Part 3: Adding Border 4. Please change the instructions to the following:
Top & Bottom:
1. From (2) strips cut from each (1) 4-1/2” x 12” pc. leaving the
remaining 4-1/2” x 30” section.
2. Join the short end of (1) 4-1/2” x 12” strip to (1) 4-1/2” x 42”
strip to make one longer strip. Press seams open. Repeat to
make a total of (2) strips. Attach these longer border strips to
the quilt center TOP & BOTTOM sides. Press seam to this border.
Trim ends even with quilt top.
Left & Right Borders
1. Join the short end of (1) 4-1/2” x 30” strip to (1) 4-1/2” x 42”
strip to make one longer strip. Press seams open. Repeat to
make a total of (2) strips. Repeat to make a total of (2) strips.
attach these longer border strips to the quilt center LEFT &
RIGHT sides. Press seam to this border. Trim ends even with quilt
top.

BCS Mystery Quilt - Sweet 16

Installment 3, Part 2, Method B on Page 3 there is a correction to the fabric used for the cutting.

Please note that this is ONLY for the Method B and using the Quilt In A Day Flying Geese Ruler.

The following corrections should be made on Page 3:

Method B: Quilt in a Day™ Flying Geese - for 3” x 6” Finished Size (3-1/2” x 6-1/2” unf.)

For use with the Quilt in a Day™ Flying Geese Ruler: Cut fabric as follows: 

Fabric #4  Fabric#1 

          Cut 7-1/2” wide strips of fabric x 42” WOF                            
         Fabric #1  Fabric #4       

Cut 9” wide strips of fabric x 42” WOF

The fabric requirements on the back of the pattern do not include the amounts for the applique pieces. These amounts should be as follows:

For Applique Pieces:
Witch's Hat - Top: Black Small Print 9"x 20"
Witch's Hat - Brim: Black Solid Print 3" x 8"
Witch's Hat - Sash: Purple Tonal Print 3" x 6"
Witch's Hat - Buckle & Star: Yellow Small Print 3" x 5"
Words: Black Solid Print 3" x 20"

Please note that all other fabric requirements are correct.

The fabric requirements provided for in the pattern will be correct if you cut down the size that was originally instructed (2-1/2") to the corrected 2" size as noted above.
